This weekend saw one of the most popular racing events taking place at Royal Ascot.
It is always well attended and people make a real effort in getting dressed to the nines and wearing some of the most extravagant hats that you will ever see.
We thought it would be interesting to look at the weekend’s events through the wonder of Instagram.

Perhaps it was the run off from the jubillee celebrations but it is a very patriotic event that attracts thousands of people to visit the race course.
There is always an air of class and style at Ascot, how is this for a car park picnic?
There are fashion shows throughout the weekend and as we mentioned some people really like to push the boat out.
Black Caviar was favourite to win the Diamond Jubilee Stakes race increasing her reign at the top with 22 races and 22 wins. And she got to meet the queen.
As we mentioned, hats are a big deal at Ascot; these stunning examples are definitely a bit different to your usual head wear.
As with all racing events there are winners and losers, here is the Queen presenting HH Sheikh Mohammed with the golden cup. Congratulations!
The weekend looked like it was a huge success and we hope that you had a great time if you attended. A truly British celebration with a classic style, we are already excited about next year!
