If you are a self-confessed foodie with an appreciation for a bit of luxury then there is only one place you should be this weekend; the Taste of London festival.

This weekend sees the return of one of the biggest food festivals in the UK. It is set in Regent’s Park from the 21st to the 24th of June and features Michelin-starred restaurants and lots of famous chefs. Over forty of London’s finest restaurants will be taking their trade outdoors at the Taste of London festival, along with boutiques and wine producers, so you are guaranteed to be spoilt for choice.

Not only will you be able to sample personalised tasting menus delivered by some of the world’s best chefs, but you can also take part in wine tutorials, attend cookery classes, buy speciality produce from beer to cheese. . .we’re getting excited just thinking about it (and hungry!).

You will be able to sample dishes from established restaurants like Le Gavroche, Petrus, Gauthier Soho, and Pollen Street Social. There will also be new additions to the line-up this year which include; Barbecoa – Jamie Oliver’s restaurant at One New Change, Bar Boulud -a new bistro in the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel, and The Corner Room – which set in Town Hall & Apartments.

Taste of London is a great opportunity to sample dishes from a wide range of top restaurants. We recommend you check out last minute availability of hotels in London so that you don’t miss out on this unique experience!

Taste of London operates its own currency, Crowns, which can be purchased with tickets in advance, or on the day, and are required to buy dishes from the exhibiting restaurants. This means you can plan how much you want to spend and buy the appropriate number of Crowns, instead of getting carried away with tasting the gorgeous food and spending all your money!

The sponsor, British Airways, offer 2 for 1 on standard tickets with the code BA241 for their customers. You can find out more about the offer from British Airways here.

Let’s just hope the weather is nice this weekend, nobody likes a soggy cake!
