After beating breast cancer Janet Kenny, 58, from Doxford Park, and her daughter Michelle teamed up to create a series of fund-raising balls in aid of breast cancer care.
Their newest venture takes place tomorrow at the Gosforth Park Marriott hotel in Newcastle.
This is Janet Kenny’s fourth ball and over the years the pair have raised thousands of pounds for breast cancer which has helped many people that are still battling the disease.
