Pinterest for parents
The majority of people reading this will be aware of the site Pinterest. If not it is basically a site that allows you to “pin” images to pinboards to create collections on whatever interests you. There are lots of boards about travel, food, design and advertisements. We thought that it would be interesting to look at Pinterest boards that are aimed at parents.
The following boards give ideas to parents about really varied topics from activities to science experiments to keep kids entertained and to give the parents a bit of inspiration.
First up we have nuturestore. This has to be one of the most all covering collections of boards we have ever seen there will be something for everyone on one of these boards. From cooking to activities it really does cover a huge range of topics and it is worth following these boards to be updated on the lates goings on.

As we are moving into the summer months, hopefully, you will want to try and get the kids outside as much as possible. And if that can be done with them giving you a hand then it is a win all around.
Kids Gardens has ideas that can get the kids involved in the garden from helping to tidy up to growing fruit and veg. Loads of really handy links.

Learning is also making its way onto Pinterest. This is a great example called
Reading and Writing Readiness. It has advice about getting kids to read and also has loads of suggestions on games and activities to help them improve.It also has suggestions of books that you should read to your kids.

And just to show you that the pins that are put up actually work we found this video on Youtube from the Prime Parents Club. This clip shows them constructing their pin of the week. A great video showing the ideas you see on Pinterest being made with a bit of assistance of course.
